Pipe Network Builder

The Cad Artisans Pipe Network Builder utility allows you to automate the process of creating pipe networks from either field surveyed or design point data in AutoCAD Civil 3D 2010, accomplishing in only a few seconds what would otherwise take hours do duplicate manually.
  • With only a few mouse clicks, create pipe networks of any size and complexity from field surveyed point data in Civil 3D 2010
  • Use to model existing utilities, or to quickly and easily generate new pipe networks using design data points
  • Create pipe networks in seconds with only a few mouse clicks
  • Concurrently create multiple network models in a single operation using a single point group
  • Create networks using a description coding system that is easy to code both in the field and office
  • Customize the description coding parameters
  • Only one point is required per structure
  • Connect multiple pipes to a single structure at a point
  • Automatically insert null structures if the structure code is omitted
  • Define pipe invert depths per connection or per structure
  • Supports custom description parser plugin modules to allow alternate parsing systems to be used

Subassembly Studio

Corridor Models in Civil 3D are created with Assemblies. Civil 3D ships with a large number of subassemblies which are the building blocks of an Assembly.
CAD Artisans found an easier way to make subassemblies compatible with Civil 3D that have much more sophisticated behavior that those shipped with Civil 3D. With Cad Artisans Subassembly Studio, you can now quickly and easily create an unlimited number of custom parametric subassemblies without any programming whatsoever! In mere minutes, you can now replicate what would have taken a programmer days to create, allowing you to remain fully productive while creating (and modifying) custom subassemblies as needed.
This 3d DWF file of a levee was created from a Civil 3D corridor model.  The three surfaces were created using a single subassembly created in Subassembly Studio.  Its dynamic components are controlled with three profiles and two easy to use bench width parameters.
